Automated radiosonde launchers (ARL) are high quality systems that permit unattended upper atmospheric observations. Our launchers are robust and fault-tolerant systems that automate radiosonde observations, and are compatible with a variety of commercial radiosondes. They are ideal for remote locations, operations with limited manpower, and applications requiring mobility. The automated launchers take a manually intensive task and reduce it to routine, periodic maintenance. We also offer launch systms that are portable, practical and economical. Our radiosondes and dropsondes feature Global Positioning System (GPS) technology for high resolution (4Hz) vertical profiles of pressure, temperature, humidity, and winds.
