We celebrated our 20 years anniversary from 4th to 6th of November in Berlin! Thanks very much to our partners, long-standing business partners and customers for joining us in such big numbers!

Ammonit was founded in early November 1989, just before the fall of the Berlin Wall, as one of the first wind energy companies world wide. 20 years in the wind industry this sure is asking for a great bash! Over a period of 3 days we met with our guests at various events. All our selected event locations had something to do with our company history – directly or indirectly.

The actual function on November 5th was preceded by a conference meeting with our partners, who flew in to Berlin from across the world. The actual bash, starting on Thursday afternoon, and was attended by our long standing business partners and customers as well as our international partners.  On Friday we let the day fade away with a relaxed and sunny boat trip on the river Spree followed by an “open house” to all our guests in the late afternoon.

The beautiful atmosphere of the Umspannwerk-Kreuzberg with its conference hall „Warte“ and the excellent restaurant H.H. Müller, accredited with 14 Gault Millau points, offered the right settings for us and our guests to enjoy food and stimulating conversations. One of the many reasons to choose this location was that it is situated at the Paul-Lincke-Ufer 22, only a few house numbers away from the first Ammonit office, which was located at Paul-Lincke-Ufer 41 for many years. A converted Umspannwerk is an electric power transformation substation, a quite suitable location for a firm who helps transforming wind into wind energy, isn’t it?

We are very happy that so many of our invited guests joined us for the event and we would like to use that occasion to thank all of them again for the successful and trustful cooperation over the past years.
