Ammonit presents new data logger Meteo-40 on Asian market (Wind Power Asia 2011 – Booth #D02)

Berlin, 3 June 2011. Ammonit is going to present its new data logger series Meteo-40 at Wind Power Asia 2011 (booth #D02) from 22 to 24 June in Beijing. With Meteo-40 the German expert in wind measurement Ammonit meets the high standards of MEASTNET site assessment norm. Ammonit offers three configurations of Meteo-40 with different number of channels. The large version Meteo-40L is equipped with 35 channels. Furthermore, the data logger has a memory of up to 2 GB to record a complete 1 sec data measurement campaign (at typical number of sensors). Due to the dual-processor Linux design the data logger consumes very little power and can be operated with a 50 W solar panel.

Meteo-40 can be used for wind site assessment, wind farm monitoring, climate research as well as solar assessment and solar monitoring.
