For over three decades, we have been pioneers in wind and solar measurement, supporting the global transition to renewable energy with high-precision technology and reliable service.

Our Story
Ammonit was founded in 1989, just days before the fall of the Berlin Wall, in the heart of Berlin-Kreuzberg. That same year, we developed our first wind computer to record measurement data for wind energy applications.
Since the very beginning, we’ve worked closely with renowned research institutions such as Fraunhofer IWES, DEWI, Deutsche WindGuard, and Cube to ensure scientific excellence and innovation in our products.
Our Products
Our core expertise lies in data loggers, with our current flagship being the Meteo-40 plus series – trusted by professionals around the globe.
In 2010, we launched AmmonitOR, an online platform that enables users to monitor and manage their measurement campaigns remotely and efficiently.
Collaboration and Partnerships
We collaborate with leading manufacturers like Thies Clima, EKO, and AQSystem to deliver comprehensive and customized solutions. Our global partner network spans over 100 countries, providing local expertise and fast, professional support on-site – from consulting and system setup to maintenance and yield forecasts.
Our Team
Ammonit is made up of a diverse and dedicated team of 40 people from across the world, including Germany, Poland, France, Spain, Brazil, Italy, Cameroon, Hong Kong, Argentina, Venezuela, and the UK.
