Description
The Solar Monitoring Station EKO MS-80SH Plus+ is a compact solar monitoring station that measures all three irradiance components – GHI, DHI and DNI – using a single ISO 9060 Class A pyranometer (EKO MS-80SH).
A motorized Rotating Shadow Band (RSB-02) periodically shades the sensor to separate diffuse and direct irradiance. For highest DHI accuracy – such as for bifacial PV applications compliant with IEC 61724-1 Class A – an additional Tracking Shadow Band (TSB) mode is available.
The integrated C-Box with GPS receiver handles control and data processing, with RS-485 Modbus RTU output for seamless integration into dataloggers and SCADA systems.
The system is cost-effective, low-maintenance and straightforward to deploy across a wide variety of solar power plant locations.
