Wind Vane Thies Compact 0-5V

TMR wind direction sensor

Description

The Wind Vane Thies Compact 0-5V is a high-resolution (0.4° WD) sensor widely used in wind and solar resource assessment, offering crucial wind direction data.

It features a robust design (fibre-glass reinforced vane, anodised aluminium/plastic housing) and offers an analog output (e.g., 0-5V) or serial output.

The wind vane is compatible with all Ammonit data loggers. Accurate wind direction measurement is crucial, as errors can drastically negatively impact wind farm performance.

A heated version is available for reliable performance in cold climates.
